On This Day in History

Hello, all!!

Well, it seems this section of the site is finally working as it should!

Each day we will have a new historical event that took place and links to learn more about it (And, occasionally, my thoughts on it). Be sure to check back each day to see the new event posted!

September 25th, 1789:

Thomas Jefferson is appointed the first United States Secretary of State, John Jay the first Chief Justice, Samuel Osgood the first Postmaster General, and Edmund Randolph the first United States Attorney General.
